A penthouse apartment situated in the developing areas of the Royal Docklands. It commands 180-degree view towards the Greenwich peninsula, Canary Wharf, and East London. To differentiate from the typical new-build London properties this interior design theme uses partition tempered glass, opening up and flooding the space with natural lighting. To allow privacy in the see-through bedroom, black-out fabric curtains are placed to have maximum flexibility of the space - converting it into a studio-like space or a one-bedroom apartment. The kitchen had only minimal changes to fit within the given budget, such as replacing the door laminates and its colour, re-using the carcasses and keeping the existing appliances.
